Forensic Sciences Foundation 2015-16 Student Travel Grant Winners

The Forensic Sciences Foundation (FSF) is proud to announce the winners of the “FSF Student Travel Grant Awar” essay contest: Kelsey Carpenter, BS, Student Affiliate/Anthropology; Jacob Griffin, BS, Student Affiliate/Anthropology; Roger Jefferys, BS, Student Affiliate/Criminalistics; Kelly Kamnikar, BS, Student Affiliate/Anthropology; Lauren Alyssa Meckel, BS, Student Affiliate/Anthropology; Matthew Newmeyer, BS, Student Affiliate/Toxicology; Lindsey Roberts, MA, Student Affiliate/Anthropology; Tiffany Saul, MS, Student Affiliate/Anthropology; and Michael Woolf, BS, Applicant/General (not pictured below). The Student Travel Grant will assist with travel expenses in attending the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) 68th Annual Scientific Meeting in Las Vegas, NV.

The FSF Board of Trustees is pleased to approve the travel expenses, not to exceed $1,500 per student, for nine students this year. A complimentary meeting registration is included with the $1,500 grant for travel expenses.

The 2015-16 FSF Student Travel Grant Committee was comprised of Susan Ballou, Chair (Criminalistics), Paula Brumit (Odontology), and Paul Messner (Jurisprudence).
